The Lockdown Library Project
This project explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the public’s reading habits through an online survey.
We are interested in whether people have increased or reduced their reading, chosen particular books or genres to read, revisited books from the past, and changed the ways they talk about books with other people since the lockdown.
This study was approved by the Ethics Committee in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Aston University in May 2020.
